Pivot Cares, Inc. was founded by a husband and wife team who saw the challenges faced by those returning from military service or incarceration and was moved to action. Inspired by real stories and unmet needs, and being in that class one time myself, with no real help, we launched our nonprofit in Virginia to help people rebuild their lives with dignity and independence as local business owners. Since our founding, we’ve focused on offering practical support that reduces dependence on government aid while empowering individuals to thrive while injecting the local economy where that dollar spent could be felt.
