Our Story

The Pivot Cares Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded by Pivot Health Solutions employees in the spring of 2020. Our mission is to provide financial support to healthcare workers who have experienced unexpected hardships, students embarking on a healthcare career, and charitable organizations in the communities we serve. Our board of directors and committee members are open to all volunteers.

Our Impact

  • Grant given to a Pivot employee who lost all personal property in a flood.
  • Assistance with medical expenses of a Pivot employee battling cancer.
  • Assistance with expenses of a healthcare worker who is unable to work due to a child in the hospital.
  • Academic scholarship to the child of a healthcare worker who passed away suddenly.
  • Based in Newport News, VA, Fear 2 Freedom is a 501(c)(3) global non-profit with a mission of helping restore hope and dignity to survivors of sexual assault while empowering students and communities to combat sexual violence.
  • Premier Charities’ mission is to serve the underprivileged by mobilizing resources for food, clothing, shelter, and education. Premiere Charities is a registered 501(c)(3) organization from Claymont, Delaware.
  • Target Community & Educational Services, Inc. in Westminster, MD is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and adults with disabilities through quality, community-based residential, educational, vocational, recreational, and family support services.
  • Campbell University’s PT Pro Bono Clinic provides quality physical therapy services to the campus community and surrounding area through implementation of and emphasis on the APTA core values. Pivot Cares grant will assist with the purchase of commitment for this clinic in Lillington, NC.
